The preview background will NOT be a part of your decal. In fact, the preview background's purpose is to show you the areas that will not be included with your decal. When previewing a decal, the area represented by the preview background will not exist − the decal will be die cut in the shape shown from printed vinyl, or vinyl of the color you have chosen.
The result is a die-cut decal which once applied to your window, for example, will allow you to touch the glass in the center of the "O", as well as see through the center of the "O", (or any other letter where the center has been cut out). This die-cut shape is much cleaner and more elegant than a "bumper sticker" or an image screen-printed on a square background.
